[Tricky Coin
Glue a quarter or dollar coin to the floor or the ground in a busy place. Sit nearby and watch as people try to pick it up. ]
[Salty Surprise
Simple: put salt on the victim's toothbrush. Then stand by to watch the surprised look on their face. ]
[Soggy Socks
Carefully place small water balloons in the toe your victim's shoes. They'll get a wet surprise! (Be sure to only do this on inexpensive shoes.)]
[Running Late
While the victim is asleep, reset all the clocks ahead two hours. When they wake up they will panic and think they slept late and are late for school or work.]
[Old News
Take a few pages from the inside of last week's newspaper, and substitute them for today's issue. (Sports pages work great, or comics--whatever is the victim's favorite section!).]
Word Scramble
Print out this word scramble puzzle and give it to your victim. None of the words can be unscrambled into actual words! When they check the answer key hidden at the bottom of the page, they'll realized they've been pranked.
Holey Water
Take your victim's disposable water bottle and make sure the lid is on tight and that it is completely full. Then take a small push pin and put several holes in the bottom. A small amount of water will drip out when you do this, but then water pressure will prevent any more from coming out the holes. When your victim grabs the bottle, it will either leak when they squeeze it, or water will come pouring out of the holes when they take off the top.
Crazy Cursor
Plug a wireless mouse into your victim's computer. Go to a nearby location and wiggle the mouse around. They will wonder why their computer is freaking out.
Drippy
Here's one of the simplest April Fool's Day pranks: Use a pin to make a few small holes in a plastic disposable cup. The holes should be near the top, just below the rim. Offer a drink to the victim and watch while the liquid dribbles out onto their shirt when they take a drink.
Wild Flowers
Do you have a friend who struggles with getting a garden to grow? This is the perfect prank for them! Buy some fake but realistic-looking flowers from a craft store and "plant" them in your victim's garden. They will be shocked to find they have a greener thumb than they thought!
Accidentally On Purpose
Did someone you know leave out an important paper, project, homework, etc.? Then you have a perfect opportunity for a fun prank! Just take some paper that looks somewhat similar to their project. Set their real project aside, and spill a drink or something messy all over the fake project. Say "Oh My God!" and pretend to apologize. They'll have a major anxiety attack until you surprise them with "April Fool's!"

Strange Walnut Surprise
Open up a walnut along its seem being very careful to not break it. Then put odd items inside, like peas, sunflower seeds, rocks, whatever else you can fit in and then close back up using a touch of super glue so it seals well and is unnoticed. When your victim opens the walnut , they will be surprised and will wonder how a gummy worm or dried peas got inside.
Fun with Food-Coloring
Methylene blue is harmless but passes thru the ole' body system leaving its color behind. Add a couple of drops into a dark beverage like coffee, coca cola, tea...whatever. The next time this person has to use the bathroom, they will have quite the surprise -- blue urine!
Don't Cut the Cake
Mom, ya gotta love her
Decorate a sponge with icing, whipped cream, decorations so it resembles a cake. Leave this handy work in on the counter, on the table, just so that your target-victim just can't resist the temptation. Sit back and watch them try t o cut that cake
Ptpo, err i naem -- errr, a Typo
This can be very fun for those who are not good typists. And use caution with this one, to not ruin the keyboard. Carefully, and I mean very carefully remove a few keys off the keyboard and switch them around. Very effective for those victims that are "look at the keyboard" typers. Your victim will be very confused and easily might run-away screaming.
The Office is Full
This is intended for one who has an office door with a glass window. Find a box slightly bigger than the window, or a really large sheet of plastic, paper, whatever it takes to cover the window allowing for slack to fill. You'll see why.... cut off one end and tape it to the door around the window (with the open end at the top). Fill the box or paper container with empty cans, balloons, packing peanuts, or other item of your choice. When your victim looks thru the window it will look like the entire office is full of this stuff! For an extra added effect, put a chair or something heavy behind the door to make it hard to open.
Invisible Ink, or Lead
Take all the pencils and pens and put a dab of clear fingernail polish on the ends. When an unsuspecting victim goes to use the pencil, viola - nothing. you can go back and resharpen the pencils or dip the pen tip in fingernail polish remover when the gig is up, or nobody is looking.
Lefty Mouse
Go to the control panel, and select "Mouse". Change the pointers to an hour-glass, and reverse from right to left handed orientations, and while you are there slow the speeds. This guarantees some confusion and is easily modified
Auto-Correct
We all use and love auto-correct when typing documents, school papers, emails and alike and know how it makes us look super smart and type really fast.
In Word, go to "Tools" and then "Auto Correct." (office 08 - word options, proofing, auto correct options) and will see the entire list of commonly mistyped words next to the correct spelling. Here, you can edit to how you want it spelled, reverse the spelling of common words.
But be methodical to note all of the ones that you changed so you can change it back later! They'll swear that something evil has corrupted their computer.
Swap the cords
This might be considered mean, but funny none the less. If two computers are close to each other, switch the cords on the monitors. Watch your co-workers faces when they come back from lunch and see their cubie neighbor's desktop.
